"Stayed here a few times now and like it a lot. The staff is great, it’s easy to get to, great for parking, clean, and you can even walk to a great view of Stonehenge if you’re up for a wander. Breakfast is excellent and dinner and drinks are good in the common area. Great place."

"Welcoming, friendly staff, clean and well maintained room and property, super comfy bed. Breakfast and dinner offered a variety of fresh cooked meals which were really good. The pub has its own car park too. Quiet at night considering the location in the middle of the village, great to have a window that opened in my bedroom with a decent blackout blind. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone. A true hidden gem of local hospitality."

This is a quaint property with everything you expect from a place built in the 1400s. The restaurant and bar area has many of the features of an old property such as beams, low ceilings and slab floors.
The room we had was a large one in a converted older out building at the front of the property. It had its own outdoor sitting area and easy access to the adjacent carpark.
Sam and his team were awesome and great conversation.
The dinner was perfect. We couldnt fault The Litton. It has...

This hotel was highly rated as the best in UK… unfortunately it did not live up to this expectation.
The facilities are run down; it has a nice pool that was probably amazing in its day. The breakfast was good; better than the Michelin star dinner!
Our experience may have been tainted because we had just stayed at Heckfield place which was so much better!
The grounds and the main house is quite beautiful. We would have loved to do some horse riding but the weather wasn’t permitting.

The Riverside is close to the centre of Salisbury but still easy to get to, no narrow streets and plenty of easy parking. The river view room was modern, clean, comfortable and very pleasant. The access to the garden and the river bank was a real plus. The breakfast buffet was good, fill up here and you will barely need lunch! The only minor problem is that the gravel on the car park isn't friendly to wheeled suitcases.

Lovely pub, friendly and helpful staff and a beautiful village. The breakfast was great. Only minor complaint was that the floors are wonky (part of its charm) but I was in danger of rolling out of bed.

Professional, friendly staff. we had one of the newly refurbished rooms which was decorated in very tastefully and was very comfortable. The bed was the best I have slept in out of many this trip and the bathroom was lovely. we had an exceptionally beautiful dinner in the restaurant while our children stayed in our room and had room service burgers and brownies while watching the big flat screen TV. we didn't get to try the pool but it looked lovely as it does on the website. the grounds are...

The staff were wonderful , generous and very helpful with all the questions I had during my time there for almost a week.
Do check with the lovely folks at reception about taxi , car hires and to get any information about facilities around there.
Restaurant staff were equally wonderful and accomodative all of which made my stay there very relaxed.

The New Forest Lodge doesn't look much from the front but is very nice inside. The room was very spacious, the bed very comfortable and the decor quite nice. The WIFI worked well without issues. We didn't have breakfast the next morning but it looked quite nice as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and I would definitely stay here again.

We loved staying in this 13th century inn.
We were given a room in the original section of the inn - amazing wattle and daub walls, original timber work and wonky floors!
The River Avon flows past the front of the Rose and Crown property.
A beautiful settling and a privilege to be able to stay here! If you love history, this is the place to stay in Salisbury.
