"So first off, the staff were friendly and accommodating, however we had dogs and the same staff member asked twice if they had charged us for the pet fee - fine whatever (we had paid it). Upon leaving, they asked again. Seems to be quite a thing with them. Secondly, the surrounding area is sketchy as heck. There were drunk and high people all over the property, yelling at all hours of the night. There are train tracks RIGHT beside the hotel, and that is also quite loud. Third, the rooms were outdated and looked... interesting to say the least. The bathroom sink was cracked, the carpet was disgusting and we never once took our shoes off. The water had a strange odour, and the towels were cheap and didn’t do much to dry you off. Happy to report there were no bedbugs, however! Overall, with three people it was fine. I would not stay here by myself, but it was a place to shower and sleep for the night."

"The kitchen was clean and the bread- pastries were fresh. There was a limited selection as no hot foods apart from the coffee and toast."

"A beautiful hotel in a very convenient location. Service was excellent! We really appreciated the noon checkout time. My only complaint was that the “queen size“ bed was actually a double bed. Pretty small for 2 people, yet there is plenty of space in the room for a king bed. Also, the bedside clock was an old-style analog clock with a small, unlit dial that was positioned about 1 foot above the floor, making it practically useless."

"Actually my stay was so good I can’t wait to return! Everything was beyond my expectations for the pricing of the hotel. The staff were efficient and kind. I was aware the place was renovated and whoever did so was very good at their job it’s like a new hotel now. . Bed linen was much better than many places, and Kitchenette was well stocked snd so very clean sink full size. Shower new fresh glass cubicle style and The view of the city from the table/desk was a treat. They seem to love what they do and they do it well ! I didn’t have a car so I can’t speak about that, but they offered parking facilities each time I was at the front desk. Moxies Restaurant is downstairs and transit is right outside. Convenient for business or Vacation."

"Iv stayed over 50 nights in this hotel, stayed in 408 extremely windy last night, there must be an air duct or something under this room as with every wind burst the whole room and bed would shake! Felt like the building was coming down"
