"We are returned visitors. A lovely place to stay"

"Don’t stay at this hotel on a Friday night if you like sleep. We stayed for 2 nights to finish off our trip to Tasmania before flying home but the hotel is next to/on top of a night club that had live music Friday night that we could hear even in our room on level 8 and less loud music Saturday night. I was going to request to move rooms but read similar reviews where people were moved to the other side of the hotel and it was just as bad so didn’t bother. Check in was quick but dropping the car off for valet at check in meant we had to do a few laps of the block before a space to stop near the hotel was available. Cars are taken off site and you’re asked to give 30mins notice when you wish to use it so just something to keep in mind. The hotel has 3 lifts but one was out of order for the duration of our stay and on two occasions had to open the lift door with our hands when it arrived on ground floor. The room had all the usual things you come to love about a reliable brand and the room was spotless. "

"Excellent stay, the staff were wonderful and the room was clean and cosy. The location was central and on Sunday the farmers market was right outside. Highly recommend. "

"Whenever we turn on for a shower, there is a very loud noise coming out from the tap. "

"Room was clean and comfortable. The USB ports did not work so I had to charge my devices in the common area. The pod door is loud and the pods are not soundproof, so people's movements can be heard constantly throughout the night. My pod (No. 10) was a lower one in the corner and it was quite difficult to enter and exit in between the wall and the upper pod ladder. It would be nice if the pod had a compartment to keep glasses/phone/anything fragile "

"My partner and I made an emergency reservation fairly late on the same day we were meant to arrive in town. We encountered some extenuating circumstances during our vacation, which meant we needed a safe place to sleep for a couple of nights. Despite this short notice, our stay was fantastic! We did a contactless check-in after hours, arriving sometime after 7pm. This was a godsend after the long, and frankly terrible, day we’d had. In the morning, the staff were very welcoming, accommodating, and I felt at ease immediately. Our room was impeccably clean, comfortable, and I also loved that our suite had a private bathroom. The included breakfast was quite good as well- and I’m a fairly picky eater. Overall, it was money well spent and I would love to go back someday. Additionally, the town of Cygnet is quite charming itself. There are a few options nearby for food, fun, shopping, etc., but I was particularly fond of a cafe/bakery that makes an absolutely divine sourdough baguette. I dream of that bread even now"
