"We can’t say enough good things about the resort, the incredibly friendly staff. The food was delicious and a large variety to cater to all guests. Our room had a private pool and was a great way to start or unwind at the end of the day. We loved being surrounded by wild life and the beautiful foliage. The coati’s were very entering, but ensure you lock your doors or you will wake up to furry friends like our neighbours lol! The beach was immaculate even during seaweed season. The weather said rain for many days but it never came until our last day which made it a very enjoyable time. The only flaw would be a new ice cream scoop for the buffet lol! Other than that it is truly a 5 star resort and the best of the best. "

"Everybody was very warm and welcoming. All waiters made you feel at home. The beach access was always clean and walkable. There was never a lack of available sun beds. Jorge and Eloy at the swim-up bar were always there with a smile. The restaurant options were good especially the asian one. The italian cuisine one (capri grill) left us a little bit underwhelmed. (I.e.: the beef carpaccio was under seasoned. Lola's it depended on who was cooking that day, I guess. The first time we went everything was well seasoned and had a good service, but the second time, everything was bland and under-seasoned. We also saw people getting served before us, even though they came in later."

"We had a great time in off season. The property was clean and service was great. Ac was very cold. I love the beds and lounging. Plenty of access to towels. I loved that the food in buffets were closed off for bugs. Because it was off season it wasn’t crowded and very pleasant. The water is beautiful with many fish to see. It was so warm and clear. Pool service was fantastic. Aaron was great. The seafood restaurant had some of the best food I’ve had at an all inclusive. Taxi ride to downtown was about $15 and 10 minutes. Plenty of seats and towels. Cons: Kids club didn’t open until 12. The buffet wasn’t open at night but you need a reservation to the restaurants. The Mexican restaurant was great but we did not like the Asian. When checking out the elevator was broken. We were on the 6th floor. I traveled with 3 kids solo and had several bags and a stroller and no one would answer the phone for help. The spa amenities do not come with service when you book. I’ve never been to a resort that doesn’t let you use the hot tub or sauna if you book a service. We all had massages and weren’t allowed to use the amenities."
