We were very well greeted. The staff made the check in easy and also provided helpful information regarding the area and places to go. The rooms are large and clean and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast is simple and the staff very kind. Location is perfect close to the main street with great restaurants and 5 minute walk to the ferry.

Clean quiet room, comfy beds, great location, easy walk from the ferry and very friendly staff. The morning server opened the gate for the beautiful gardens which was a lovely treat.

I really enjoyed this small hotel. Excellent communication pre-arrival, the staff was super friendly and helpful, the room was fantastic. Located just a quick 5 min walk from the ferry with multiple restaurants close by. This property does not have a pool, which was fine for us

This is an older property, but was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good. The only downside to this place is there is no parking for a rental car….I would definitely stay there again…

Fun Trip to Cozumel at Suites Colonial

My stay at Suites Colonial was excellent. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is near EVERYTHING! All in walking distance or near taxi's when they were needed.

Property is old but in very good condition and clean. It's pretty no-frills but comfortable. I had a problem on the last day with my door lock, but the staff was friendly and helpful basically dismantling the door so I could get my stuff.

The other reviews are correct. It’s a simple but large condo with a bedroom, kitchen, sitting room and table area. Immaculately clean. Very good breakfast. Situated in the heart of downtown. Will absolutely stay again!

Colonial suites is a great location! Lots of great restaurants in the immediate area, and a short walk to the pier for diving. Staff was very professional and friendly. I had a small issue, that was taken care of immediately. Breakfast of coffee, fruit and yogurt, toast, eggs, and refried beans was served on the premises. Very efficient, and again the staff was great.

For a economical and convenient place to stay, you can't beat Suites Colonial. While the property is a little dated (aka 'charm'), the rooms are very clean and well appointed. Slept like a rock in the comfortable bed. Water pressure is a little low in the shower so easy on the shampoo.

They have staff on 24hrs a day. The 2 room suites include kitchenette with fridge, small stove, plates & utensils. All rooms come with a programable safe to keep valuables in. Very quiet and peaceful. Having a free breakfast included is very nice. located centrally and very close to ferry terminal. This was my second stay at the property. Rates are very reasonable!

We were only in Cozumel for one night so it was perfect for us. Located right on the square we could have easily walked to it if we had known our way around. It’s close to the ferry and the ocean. Lots of local shops and restaurant options within walking distance. The hotel is cute, clean, & comfortable. It is an older property but suited us well for the night. Check in was fast and we were able to have a late check out and room upgrade with our Expedia VIP benefits. The waitress at breakfast was super sweet and took great care of us. Service with a smile is always appreciated! Breakfast was simple but cooked to order and fresh. Would stay here again!

Location is great and staffs are wonderful. Breakfast is great. But amenities were out dated, fridge is leaking, no microwave. Staff are very accommodating, but hotel really needs renovation. Hotel was very accommodating letting us check out earlier due to the travel plan change and agreed not to charge the unused days. But Expedia did not process refund until this minute, making excuse that Hotel did not approved it which was obviously a lie. So disappointing about Expedia US travel team!

While the hotel is situated in an excellent area right at the main shopping district with plenty of restaurants nearby, the room was clean and staff very friendly BUT the rooms are musky from mildew or mold and irritate your throat and sinuses. Even running the AC does not help because this is where most of it develops along with the wood inside. The lobby is nice, but rooms need upgraded. I have stayed many other places in Cozumel and even lived here for 2 years. I advise Casa Mexicana or Hotel Puerto Libre as better options for similar price. Price is to high for what you get. Also the continental breakfast was only slices of bread, jam, and a little fruit. Excellent location for walking.
