Parkview Hotel Orange

Parkview Hotel Orange

8/10 Good
"Whilst the rooms are spotless, comfy bed and the bathroom are super clean and modern, there was only one coat hanger, remote for TV with flat batteries, and no lounge chair (only a dining one). Extremely annoyed that the King room advertised as being located in the quieter part, it was in fact the noisiest I’ve possibly had anywhere in the world! [Rooms 15-17] Over the downstairs bar, thumping live music Friday night, recorded music Saturday night, overlooks the Main Street of Orange with large trucks thundering through and noisy and inconsiderate guests in rooms opposite. Oh and the permanent smell of cigarette smoke residue from gaming room at street entry, Given we had two rooms for 3 nights, really unhappy with zero response from management. Reception and bar staff were lovely and kind. Handy having restaurant downstairs, supermarket and fabulous cafe/bakery in neighbouring street. Stay elsewhere if you want peace and quiet."
