"Hope all the stay was great things were not as clean as they should have been. The ice machine on our floor did not work nor did the one below us and had to travel either to the desk or to the third floor to get ice. Overall, things were very nice. Just need to be a little updated in better kept but the day was fine."
Ayres Hotel Costa Mesa/Newport Beach

"This is easily the most beautiful and comfortable Ayres hotel we've used. The pool area is large, sheltered and features plenty of room for relaxing, swimming or resting in a clean and comfortable spa. And the restaurant menu is amazing, with a variety of offerings - ours were unfailingly excellent. The staff was quick, competent and sincerely concerned about our comfort and convenience. I was not terribly pleased with having to pay for parking there, but I learned that their rates are lower than most in the area - hotels around there must charge for parking because their lots used to be overrun by airport users who took advantage of the then fee parking. This is an excellent property overall and we would recommend it to friends without reservation (although reservations are advisable)."

"It was the perfect place to stay with my one year old and newborn! i love the heated pools and the baby pool, my daughter had so much fun in it! Breakfast was good, could have more options but it was okay! the staff was so nice and helpful! i love the location of it, so many food options right across the parking lot."
