"The room was clean, I chose from the menu the first day and breakfast was soooo goood, I did the buffet the second day and was a bit disappointed that I didn’t choose from the menu again and lunch was sooo good as well"

"This hotel is a very welcome oasis. We were travelling from Anchorage to London with an overnight in Vancouver. We decided to stay at the airport. What a wonderful surprise the Fairmont was!! Having been delayed boarding in Anchorage we arrived later than planned in Vancouver so hoped we would still be in time for a quick drink and something to eat. We need not have worried. The check in was very quick and efficient, the room was amazing and we were quickly in the bar for a G&T and then seated in the lovely restaurant for a superb meal. What a wonderful end to our holiday. There was also an amazing singer/guitarist playing, who made the whole experience magical. We were concerned that being at the airport it may be noisy. It is not!! The triple glazed windows blot out virtually all of the sound to allow you to enjoy the view from your window, watching the planes landing without any intrusive noise. Be aware however that the Fairmont is not well signposted from Arrivals, so do ask for directions as soon as you can."

"Additional comments: I understand even though we arrived early from the cruise ship, check in was not until 3PM. However, it is very disappointing to not even get checked into the room until almost 5PM. I had to ask for a room credit for meals and was granted $150. I should not have needed to ask when my room was 2 hours late. Aside from that, the room service was prompt and staff was friendly."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Pan Pacific Vancouver before our Alaska cruise. The location simply could not be better for cruisers — the cruise terminal is literally downstairs, making embarkation day incredibly easy and stress-free. The hotel is also perfectly situated right on the waterfront and within walking distance of great restaurants, Canada Place, Gastown, and downtown attractions. The views from the hotel are absolutely stunning. Watching the harbor, cruise ships, mountains, and seaplanes from our room was a highlight of the trip all by itself. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. From check-in to luggage assistance, everyone made the experience smooth and enjoyable. The Pan Pacific truly feels like part of the Vancouver experience and is the perfect way to begin an Alaska cruise vacation. The food options nearby were fantastic as well. I absolutely loved the gourmet breakfast buffet at the hotel each morning. For dinner, Miku next door served some of the best sushi we’ve had, and Chronic Taco was surprisingly incredible for a casual meal. Between the amazing views, outstanding location, excellent staff, and great dining options, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way."
