"The indoor and outdoor pools are both unheated. During the colder months they are not usable. The rooms were clean however they only were cleaned once on our 3 night stay. Room service was very slow and we ran out of toilet paper one day."

Great staff, priceless views, a very good kitchen and a welcoming lounge - all good. This is a hundred year old building so the rooms are compact at best. Would I book to stay there again - yes I would."

"It was by far the most charming place we've ever stayed in. AND just across the street from the train station (noise not a problem) so very convenient with luggage. Their breakfast buffet (not included but very reasonably priced) was good and plentiful. Around the corner from bus stops, with many local eateries within a couple blocks. Had a game room with pool table, library, bar, just can't say enough nice things about it."
