Breakfast was well worth the money and the hotel staff all very helpful, friendly and accommodating. "The cleanliness, breakfast or services did not meet 5 star standards. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels and this is around 3 star worthy. We had a wet carpet for our entire stay and hotel staff clearly just didn’t understand or try to understand what we was saying. We had to request new towels daily & our room was only cleaned once on a 4 night stay. Cleaning staff enter the room despite the clearly displayed sign left us feeling uncomfortable and unsafe, on two occasions (one morning) and we do not believe this was handled appropriately at all. We were additionally disappointed with the breakfast. The breakfast selection had very little variety. Although we paid for breakfast as part of our stay, we only ate there once and ended up purchasing breakfast elsewhere for the remainder of the trip due to the poor experience. Spa tried to charge us full price despite online stating 20% off for people staying in the hotel - when queried she offered 15% off instead - booked this hotel for the spa experience and did not end up doing! Located in a good place where most things are walking distance."
