"Our stay couldn’t have been better as first-time visitors to Istanbul. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of it all, making it incredibly easy to explore the city’s major landmarks, and just as convenient to hop on a ferry to the Asian side. With nearby access to trams, the metro, and buses, getting around was effortless. The area is full of great places to eat. Our favorite was Ortaklar Kebap just around the corner, and if you don’t mind a short walk, Ziya Baba Türk Mutfağı is a must—authentic, delicious, and very reasonably priced. The hotel itself is charming, with incredibly kind and helpful staff who truly made our stay memorable. Breakfast on the rooftop is a highlight—the view alone is a showstopper—but what really stands out is the warmth of the manager and his team. It’s the perfect way to start your day. The rooms are quaint, comfortable, and cleaned daily. There is a fresh, beautiful scent that lingers—I genuinely wish I could bottle it and bring it home. A special mention to the sweet elderly housekeeping lady, whose kindness did not go unnoticed. We’re already planning our return."

"The hotel looks great esthetically. The rooms are much smaller than what the pictures make them seem. Very dated. The AC didnt work consistently it would cool for 5 mins and blow warm humid air The rest of the day. No storage in the room for long stays. The showering amenities like shampoo are really low quality and Im one who never has an issue with this but I had an issue with their product. The carpets had stains and crust feel and need to cahnged. The pillows were lumpy and really poor. I had 4 different sized pillows lol. The breakfast buffet was great!"

"Every member of staff was so friendly, so welcoming. I felt safe. Food was great. Concierge was also great at making recommendations where to go. I was travelling solo and as a female sometimes I am cautious however it was a home away from home. Special thanks to Gamze at breakfast so attentive and recommended where to fix my broken nail. I would definitely recommend to anyone who asks where to stay in Taksim."
