It’s a super nice Japanese style resort, we stayed in the two bedroom Villa, it’s just so beautiful. And 5mins walk to 7/11, tops and laundry, convenient to buy what you need. But not close to the tourist place, we rent a car so it wasn’t a problem at all. If something could improve, the mattress was a bit rough, we can feel the springs slightly in the mattress. But still, it’s such a lovely place to stay, will come back again.

This resort far exceeded our expectations. We received an upgrade two levels to an oceanview pool villa which was very large with a beautiful pool overlooking the water. The villa was set amongst many exotic plants and trees which made it very private. The staff were top notch and always eager to anticipate our needs. Wonderful service beautiful bungalow to yourself with all the amenities close to the beach

This resort is amazing! The staff are friendly and accommodating, from the moment we arrived until we left. As we stayed during low season we were able to have early check in and late check out, however in peak season they may not be able to accommodate that. We stayed in a beach view deluxe suite which was beautiful. The amenities were fantastic and it was a large room, large bathroom and huge deck. The experience was different. The money travel and language was an eye opener to us. We loved every bit of it. We was suprized about the rules of the roads. Shopping was amazing. The tempal was beautiful the big Buddha was amazing. We had fun on the flying hanuman never done anything like it. The speed boat tour around the island was breath taking. The resort was amazing we loved the food. The service was great. I would come back.

An amazing hotel and part of the Small Luxury Hotels of the world and truly reflective of the title. We travelled with 3 teenagers so were spread over 2 rooms but with the safety of the hotel they were never a concern or worry. Location is great with only a small walk across to uncrowded Surin beach. Staff were absolutely amazing and nothing was ever a problem, many thanks to all of you for making our holiday truly remarkable! Hope to be back some time in the future.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel condotel and the staff were excellent and the transport in to town was on time and efficient and we would recommend this as a place to stay also very affordable 😉

Beautiful property with very friendly and efficient staff. Loved the detail of the rooms, they felt luxurious and the attention to detail from the staff was second to none. Excellent friendly service at Catch Beach Club with yummy food, the breakfast was amazing and the view perfect. Definitely will come back.

We booked a package via Expedia, initially with 3 nights at The Surin in Phuket, then 7 nights at The Mukdara in Khao Lak. We loved our first three nights after which we travelled to Khao Lak. Without going into it, The Mukdara was one of the worst experiences we have ever had on our travels. While we had already paid for the 7 nights at the Mukdara, we stayed only 3 so we did give it a chance. We rang The Surin asking if they could take us back and were overjoyed when they said yes.
