"Initially had trouble contacting the staff prior checking in. They asked for Venmo/zelle deposit first before giving any check in details to protect property in case any issues. They are responsive by email instead of phone but took awhile for response, which was detailed. The location is ten minutes south of fun stuff to do in Chicago, easy to uber from there. The details to get into unit was self explanatory. Bed and restroom were clean. The restroom and living room is shared. There are other guests as well. Restroom was clean but did not have any body wash, shampoo, or conditioner like other air dnb places do. The price was appropriate for location but would wish it had more amenities in restroom. My deposit was eventually returned to me about week after."

"The unit was exactly as described in the listing and offered excellent value for the price. The location was also hard to beat, with easy access to downtown Chicago and nearby attractions. For the cost and convenience, it’s a very attractive option. I did not experience any communication issues with the host during my stay, and everything I needed was provided. That said, based on the level of interaction, I could see communication potentially becoming a concern if a significant issue arose that required immediate attention, though I cannot speak to how that would actually be handled. The biggest drawback was the noise from the upstairs neighbors. At times, they were consistently loud, and the noise carried enough that it was difficult to relax or get a good night’s sleep. This was by far the most significant issue I encountered and is something prospective guests should be aware of, especially if they are light sleepers or expecting a quieter environment. Parking was another challenge, though less impactful than the noise. Finding street parking was difficult, so I would recommend arranging parking elsewhere ahead of time rather than relying on nearby availability. Overall, the unit met my expectations, and the combination of price and location was difficult to beat. The noise from the upstairs neighbors was the only notable downside and is worth keeping in mind if you’re sensitive to noise. Despite that, I found the stay to be a good value and appreciated the convenienc"

"I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the hotel. The lobby was really nice and updated. The front desk staff was gracious. The room was beautiful, clean and spacious. I stayed in a room facing the expressway. The room was quite, even with the cars and trains passing by. The hallways were also quiet. My stay was excellent. My one complaint would be the parking. The hotel advertises parking,but the attached public lot is extremely small. If you are lucky enough to find a spot don't move your car for the duration of your stay. Overall, my family and I enjoyed our stay. This is truly a hidden gem. I would definitely stay again."
