"There should be more restaurants in the hotel. There also needs to be places to grab a drink during the afternoon hours."

Hotel Figueroa, Unbound Collection by Hyatt

Hotel Figueroa, Unbound Collection by Hyatt

10/10 Excellent
"Great indoor seating areas by the bar & restaurant. I ordered a glass of red wine and sat on one of the couches with my book. Cafe Fig has a great breakfast menu. Evening options were nice too. Friendly staff. The fitness room is small. Only one treadmill. They have two pelotons and one weight machine (bowflex-type thing). I was missing my Pilates reformer but I know that’s unheard of in a hotel and it wouldn’t have fit. The bedroom was also small but it was clean and the bed comfortable. I appreciated being able to open the window for some fresh air in the mornings."

"We were able to check in an hour early, and received a free upgrade to a suite. The staff was very friendly and efficient. We had a nice room with a view of downtown Los Angeles."

"Good location, close to the Metro B line. Having to buzz through front door for them to open it was a bit annoying. Pool was nice and well maintained. Inner yard with fountain and seatings was nice too. Room was decent, with few ants crawling in the bathroom."

"In the review, it did not allow you to give you the option to add a 5 star review. I wanna let you guys know that we were very happy. It is a very small hotel. First time we experience it because we were always staying there overnight. It was good but for the price that I paid for it not to satisfied, especially because everything besides, the coffee was charged. That’s my review."

The Hollywood Roosevelt

The Hollywood Roosevelt

10/10 Excellent
"We are so glad we chose to stay at this historic hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt as though we could envision the celebrities of the 1940s & 1950s staying here and enjoying the hotel’s beautiful pool and lounge areas. The historic character and atmosphere really make this property special. The tile work throughout the hotel was absolutely beautiful and added to its old-Hollywood charm. Our room was rather small, but given the age and history of the hotel, we felt that was appropriate for the time period and part of the experience. One area that does need attention is the lobby. The check-in area is very dark, and the steps leading from the entrance to the check-in desk can be difficult to see and potentially dangerous. Better lighting in this area would greatly improve both safety and the arrival experience. The hotel is located right on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, making it an excellent location for exploring Hollywood and many nearby attractions. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved the opportunity to experience a piece of Hollywood history. If you appreciate historic hotels, classic Hollywood charm, and a unique atmosphere, this hotel is definitely worth considering."

"Room was clean, smelled a bit like bleach at check in which I prefer over smelling bad, staff was super friendly and amazing. Ac worked great, parking was easy (we just ubered from there to wherever we wanted to go. Close to citywalk, shopping center accross the street with Pizza, thai food, a bar, a convenience and most important, a starbucks"
