Claire was a friendly and accommodating host. The tiny house felt far less tiny due to the floor to ceiling windows which looked out onto plenty of trees and the occasional chicken. A great place to unwind after a long hike!

Fabulous views and wildlife. Walking distance to great pub. 3 min drive to main shops. Great stay with our small dog.

Ngaire our host was just wonderful, couldn’t have been more friendly. The cottage was spacious, bed really comfortable, kitchen well equipped and everything very clean .Wildlife on the doorstop Walking distance to Halls Gap shops and eateries.Thanks for a great stay.

Spotlessly clean . Comfortable bed . On the main road but set back a bit so it’s quiet ..Short stroll down the road to the pub for a great meal last night . Friendly helpful owners . Can see this becoming our regular stopover driving between Adelaide and Melbourne

Wonderful cottage with everything you need forna weekend away. Loved the choice of ac or fireplace. Kitchen with everything you neednif you want to cook. Peaceful and quiet.

The room was large, comfortable, fresh and quiet to say we were on the roadside. Graham was very friendly and helpful to guide us to where to visit in town. Big TV, everything else you need. Thanks so much would definitely recommend the place to anyone who is visiting Ararat.

This Motel is out of the ordinary, lovely Manager very obliging & friendly. There have been recent refits, well done & comfortable, I love the handsets enclosed in plastic, no more filthy hand controls as we have all experienced over the years at other venues. Maryborough should take pride here & the price is good value, I can honestly recommend a stay here. I'll be back! Annie O'Brien

Great location and good access to wildlife and the main drag. We would recommend this place to a friend. Great for kids also and walking distance to the Views restaurant. Nice and convenient and the staff were lovely!

What a gem this hostel is. Beautifully situated, well set up for visitors, good beds, very secure and an amazing kitchen. Lovely staff, warm and welcoming. We would recommend visiting to anyone thinking about a visit to the beautiful Halls Gap.
