The property itself sits on a private side of Caye Caulker. They have a complimentary boat to take you to the other side of Caye Caulker which is nice and they set up your taxi from the airport to the water taxi terminal to get to the island. My favorite were the food, drinks, restaurants on site and the friendly staff. The downside was the noise from the construction late at night which actually woke me up two nights in a row, the bikes were so old and uncomfortable to use and another guest thought it was funny to connect their Bluetooth to our patio speaker full blast while we weren’t even there and the staff did not really address the issue and it made our party appear disrespectful. Other than that the property itself is to die for, safe and the staff was really friendly and attentive overall. Just book is all I will say.

Great experience & looking forward to visiting again wished we could have stay longer. With the addition to the other phase & hotel Blu Zen will be a top tourist destination in Belize. The water taxi from the resort was very convenient & had a great schedule to get you back & forth all day. Thanks to the staff for a wonderful experience & looking forward to visiting again soon!!

It’s a beautiful property with friendly staff. The two restaurants on property are pretty good and they make really easy to get around. However, there was a lot noise due to construction and we lost power in our unit for a most of a day. Our unit unfortunately wasn’t cleaned for the 4 days we were there. We did get fresh towels when we asked for them.

The property was definitely a western type accommodation and a 15 minute boat ride away from the main island where shops and restaurants are which was not idea. The rooms are lovely and there are three pools. The food was good but more expensive than the main island as well. We were told our condo would be cleaned everyday and was not and we had to ask for things like shampoo and coffee and sugar everyday but they did eventually come. Our air conditioning and tv’s didn’t work very well and that was too bad as it was definitely hot there! The bikes were a nice touch as we always found some for our group of three but didn’t have brakes so was a little nerve racking. We took some across the split ferry and biked Caye Caulker main island for the day- going to the iguana reef hotel to see the seahorses etc which was fun. We also had a hard time with ferries getting across when we needed to as the schedule wasn’t great. It would almost make sense to do on demand and get people to pay. All in all a good stay but a few things need improvement.

This property is for those who love the very modern, spartan look of a room. The staff were excellent but the resort lacks anything that felt Belizean. Not a bad thing if that is your preference.Also of note is lack of shade around the pools for those of us who don't like full sun.

This is a great place to go for a sea front laid back experience in comfort. Beautiful views, a few restaurants options on the property with a small market. It’s a journey to get there so just know that going in. We booked a sea front condo with a king primary suite and a second bedroom with two twins but they tried to check us into a room with a full one queen in the second bedroom. It would have been fine for two couples, but we were traveling with our two college age kids and needed more beds. It took them a while to make another unit ready, but they accommodated us eventually. I wish I had printed out my reservation details on Expedia to prove what my reservation included. Expedia customer service wasn’t much help. They also direct book so I might do that next time to eliminate possible points of failure. We loved it, but got eaten alive by sand fleas. It had been where than normal and this was happening to everyone, not just our resort. I would take bite relief meds and Off if I go again. Defiantly glad we booked the snorkeling trip to Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley! We booked a feet to San Pedro and would skip that. San Pedro is polluted and congested with cars and smelly golf carts everywhere. no no no no no.

The one thing that I didn’t like was the hidden property fee that I had to pay at the end. Expedia doesn’t disclose that information on the front end so you end up paying more than you thought you were going to pay at checkout. A little deceptive!

Clean, Friendly, Felt Safe, Beautiful, Comfortable, Loved that it was a unit with 2 bed rooms , 2 bath, kitchen, washer and dryer. It was the absolute best we could have hoped for so much we stayed an extra night. Food was excellent. The staff is awesome

We had the BESTEST stay at Bluzen! Jario made sure our stay was enjoyable and everything we wanted. He deserves a raise!!! We thought he was the manager with how helpful and caring he was. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, asking to carry our bags and just a great attitude. The only person on this resort with a sour taste was the woman in the mercado she did not seem to enjoy travellers presence. BUT everyone else was absolutely amazing, would 10/10 recommend to anyone. We will definitely be back! Thank you to everyone!

We were so impressed and loved the staff at Blue Zen. We received first class service from everyone. The food and drinks were great. Happy Lobster down the street was AWESOME! The captains and boat crews were fantastic. We love you, Blue Zen!!!

Property was beautiful. Two friends and I planned a girls trip and we requested second bedroom to have twin beds, well that did not happen a queen bed was in the room and the third guest slept on the sofa. On Sunday electricity was off for 8 hours upgrade to the system. On Tuesday electric was off from 10-4 they sent us to another condo for our inconvenience. The massage from Claire was the highlight of my stay, her deep massage was excellent. They sent the cab to pick us up and for the return. Upon checking in they had nice wash cloths, and a complimentary drink which was a nice perk. All n all Blu Zen is perfect if you would want to stay away from the crowd.
