"My daught.\nEr , and I had been at a hilton , two nice prior to our state at the Cambria. We were so pleased to have a room that\nWas comfortable and clean and had furniture and a layout that worked. (The hilton left much to be desired.) Cambria Staff was attentive and accommodating. The location was convenient with many things that we wanted to do within walking distance or a short uber ride. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends that might want to visit new orleans. "

"Pre-cruise stay. Very convenient to cruise port and riverfront shopping mall. Easy walk to entertainment district of NOLA. We did incur an extra charge upon check-in not related to parking, which was unexpected and never explained, but overall the staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were quite adequate for our short stay, and even though we overlooked the street, there was no detectable outside noise. Close to cruise parking as well."

"This is a refurbished stately old hotel, with huge rooms and a very friendly staff. It's about a half mile from the French quarter and much quieter (Lafayette park is right next door). There's an excellent restaurant kitty- corner and a well regarded steak house next door within the building. There's also a very good grocery store two blocks away which has a good selection of wines and beers and take out foods. "

"We stayed here the night before our wedding.The staff was very hospitable! The bathroom was a little on the smaller side and slightly outdated, but overall our stay was pleasant."

"Bathroom wasn’t as clean as it should be. Trash was on the floor and toilet paper holder kept coming off the wall. Staff was amazing and so kind. Really cute hotel. Breakfast was good, need two coffee machines because line is long waiting. "

"Out stay in the " deluxe" room was disappointing.The room had no windows and was not at all like the rooms shown in the hotels advertising.We were also surprised by a $20 per day fee for amenities we didn't request -mainly cheap bottled water and a small outdated fitness room.There was a complete lack of room service, and during our 4- day - stay the room was never cleaned.Towels were only changed and the trash emptied after we asked on day 3- and even then it required a reminder.On the positive side , the location was great and the restaurant was very good.The lobby was probably the highlight of the property- it was nicely decorated and welcoming.Unfortunately the rest of our stay didn't live up to our expectations and we will not return to this hotel."
