"Cool and nicely renovated apartment. Two bed-bath suites separated by common space including kitchen. Great for two people wanting their own room or two couples. Coffee shop in the building a very nice amenity. Location is excellent - warehouse district is cool without being crazy. You want crazy Bourbon St is walkable. Only quibble was early morning street noise - sounded like garbage trucks collecting - but didn’t last too long and nothing a pair of ear plugs won’t fix. Would stay again. "

"I stayed during a busy weekend of July 4th and Essence Festival so the city was hectic. The staff, from check-in to check-out were great! Everyone had a smile on their face and everyone was eager to help. I didn't go without any amenities or any service for my extended stay. I was able to find street parking relatively easy even though paid valet parking is available. I did not dine at the restaurant or bar, but I did visit the fitness center, and it was enough to provide me with a workout during my stay. Hilton Garden Inn is within walking distance to the Convention Center. The interstate, Downtown, French Quarter, Garden District and Uptown are all easily accessible from the hotel. I will definitely consider HGI again for future New Orleans stays. "

"The staff was so warm and friendly! From check in to check out they made our stay a "Home away from home" experience. Special thanks to Mr Ken at the front desk for making our check in a pleasurable experience. Mr. Duane for his exceptional service at breakfast each morning. Mr Toy was also very helpful with helping us find our room at check in, with our luggage at check out and went above our expectations. Special thanks to Ms Detrail being very polite and attentive to our needs when we needed assistance. Thank you so much to the entire staff during our staff this experience has been the BEST ESSENCE EXPERIENCE EVER in over 20 plus years. "

Great hotel near it all

"Had a hiccup first day in hotel with water leaking on floor from AC but staff was able to move us to another room next day. Hotel was clean, beds were comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful and were very prompt with anything we needed. Hotel is next to tram line which is very convenient for taking around places like French Quarter and other streets. Only downside was the hot tub was way too hot for myself to get into but overall would definitely stay here again. "
