"It pains me to say because some of the experiences were great. But so many others were lacking. I’ll start by saying this is not a 5 star resort. I would know because o have been to them.
While the premises were beautiful….the landscaping. Pools. Rooms….there were many other things that drop it to a 3 or 4 star.
Room: beautiful and spacious. The bed was amazing. Slept so good. Only down side was when the power would go off.
AC: three places where it was good. My room (thank God), the Pub and the Valley. Every other place it was tolerable but got. With the thousands and thousands of guests they have, they cut corners in unacceptable ways.
Restaurants: you get there and you plan your dinners in the speciality restaurants thinking you’re going to get a bang for your buck. Let me tell you about my experience.
French restaurant: service was awful. Can I tell you I’m not exaggerating. Awful! A bus boy took care of us because there was no waiter. The manager took our order. My food was eh. From 1-5 a 3. My husband did enjoy his dinner. But it was so hot in there that while you’re eating, sweat is running down your spine.
Mexican: great service and good food. Go!
Italian: great service. Food was okay.
Asian: my favorite. Service was spectacular and food was delicious.
Steakhouse: didn’t enjoy at all.
Seafood : service was very good and the food was okay BEST Service? Believe it or not in the buffet. Food was excellent and service was truly 5 star."
