"Great location. Room was very nice size and up to date. Only negative is the parking is at the nearest public parking lot - if you can get a spot. But overall a good night at a great location. "
"Staff were very ,friendly rooms were nice and clean as was the bedding, however we had twin beds which were a bit small and the mattress was very bouncy but over all we had a good time "
"Very close to Whitby swing bridge so handy for attractions, restaurants, coop 3 minute walk if want self catering. Newly renovated, very clean, lovely views."
"Lovely little cottage. some damp but I suppose it is to be suspected with the age and location of the building. Windows are a bit stiff, but the kitchen window should be opened due to lack of an extractor. There was no soap, but everything else we needed was provided. The location was excellent and access was easy, aside from parking but we managed OK."

"The hotel is being renovated but that didnt spoil our stay the staff were all friendly and the bar and restaurant area were stunning. Stayed in room 108 which had two large windows with amazing views."
"We had a lovely welcome at check in 💕
The parking was super we got parked outside which was convenient and we were given a parking permit. So that took the stress out of parking as Whitby was busy. The hotel is quirky and fabulous which we loved. We stayed in the crows nest on the the top floor. It had 3 bedrooms, living room, bathroom and seperate toilet. Each room is themed and the kids loved the treasure chest full of dressing up! Our room had beautiful views over the harbour. We went out for dinner to Trenches it's was amazing. Best fish and chips in Whitby 💕 We only booked room only so for breakfast we went out too! But there is an option of a continental breakfast at the hotel .We used the hotel as a base it's a super location and great for a short stay especially for a family of five which is difficult to find 💕. We were also given complimentary milk and tea and coffee making facilities in our apartment and fresh orange juice in the morning which is a lovely touch thank you! We would recommend experiencing this unique hotel which capulates the imagination and looks over on to the famous Whitby Abby 💕We had a wonderful stay thank you to the La Rosa hotel and wonderful staff!"
Cottage in the centre of Whitby - beautiful coastal and Abbey views
10/10 Excellent
"My friend, I & great nephew 13yrs enjoyed a very comfortable stay at this property. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated though the white furniture could do with a lick of paint. Having both a bath & a shower was great. Kitchen was well equipped , clean & a welcome pack was left for us. However the kitchen itself could do with being modernised . Lounge was very comfortable & bright. Lots of nice pictures & ornaments around the house which made it welcoming. The entrance flooring could do with being changed as it was old & worn. We enjoyed using outdoor area at back of house which had a table & chairs. Flooring in kitchen could do with being changed as like entrance was old & well worn. Wifi was great downstairs but didn’t reach top floor. We had easy access to all the main attractions & amenities in Whitby. All were in walking distance . I hadn’t appreciated the house was on 3 floors when I booked. "
