"Lovely clean rooms. Very quiet, despite a road being close by. Food was excellent and a wide range of options at really reasonable prices. Staff were really helpful, the guys at the check in, bar and restaurant could not have been more attentive. A great find and we shall return."

"Lovely cottage. Only moments from the harbour, and seconds from a micro-pub! Great! Scratchcard parking provided for "W Zone", so all good. Plenty of living room seating, dining table, and a real fire (but we had no need to light it). Very comfy bed, large bath with shower"

"Couldn’t fault my stay here at all. Great location and everything you could want or need except food was included. It was so comfortable I didn’t want to leave. Was there during a storm which gave me problems with the boiler, phoned a Fiona and within 15 mins Martyn was there to sort it along with 2 ready-mixed g&t’s as an apology. Wasn’t needed but a lovely touch. Yes would definitely stay here again."

"Wow, what an amazing place to stay in Whitby. Foxton Penthouse was central for us to have coastal walks and to walk into town. The apartment was very modern and had everything we needed to make our stay go well. Once in town you can cross the bridge and walk up the 199 steps to the Abbey. Or get the hop on hop off bus. The costumes of people dressed up in Gothic clothes added to our stay. "

We are a family of five and there was plenty of room in the lounge for us all to sit together on the big settee. The house is situated in a great location, near to the town, not far from the seafront, just great for walking anywhere really. There's a parking space at the house, which is a big bonus. "Beautiful apartment. Great location, fun to see the trains right by your window, excellent secure underground garage parking. Highly recommended. We also visited Eden Camp, Alpamare water park and had a walk up to Whitby Abbey. These were all fantastic locations to visit. Lovely part of the country."
