Sleek system of operation, if you don't have breakfast the chances are you won't see the owners, but try and see them, as they are a lovely couple. We wood definitely come again."

"A lovely home from home in a great location that we’re very familiar with, close to the centre. We had a lovely three nights with our 15 month old.Hilda’s communication was fantastic from before booking up until the morning we arrived, where she helped us get parked and in the property in time to feed our son. The parking permit took away a lot of stress and we were able to pull up outside the property to unload safely. We felt at home and had a great time as a family with everything we needed available and a lovely care package when we arrived.We only had two problems, the first being that the living room and kitchen floors weren’t cleaned as well as the rest of the property, which wasn’t ideal with a crawling toddler. The living room floor had quite a few dog hairs and our son pulled out a dirty dog ball from under the sofa - thankfully we spotted it before he put it in his mouth! The bedrooms and bathroom were spotless though.The other issue wasn’t a fault with the property, but the construction workers renovating a property across the street that were constantly blocking the approach to the property, meaning we couldn’t get a pushchair past and on some occasions had to carry our son past and lift his chair over the wall. I also had to park further up the street to load the car as we left. Again, not the property owner’s fault but still frustrating.We would definitely stay again, when the building work is done!"

"When we arrived we received a warm welcome, Claire explained the parking process and all we needed to do. The bedroom was clean and comfy. We opted for breafast, what a good decision that was, it was delicious, one of the best full English breakfasts I have had, certainly filled us up ready for the day. A couple of evenings we popped into the bar for a drink, the staff were friendly and efficient. Would recommend Granby Hotel if visiting Whitby"
