"We have been going here for many years , it is always excellent. The breakfast seems less varied than it used to be but is still excellent. The room was very good overall but was incredibly warm at night, too warm to sleep easily - could really do with some sort of air conditioning as it was really hard to sleep even with the windows open. The staff are really good though, and overall the hotel is really nice. We arrived late just as the restaurant was shutting but we did have a bar meal...

"What a gem of a find and without hesitation would return. The bus stop is literally just outside around the corner where we got the bus to Scarborough for £2 esch way. We did the pub quiz on the Wednesday night for a good cause at only £1 each to enter with a free bowl of chips and a plate of sandwiches. The pub has a great atmosphere and we eat in the pub on the evening. I had home made steak pie with yorkshire puddings to start. The bedrooms are modern and very clean with tea msking facilities...
