"Very close to shops "

"A wonderful suite which has been beautifully refurbished. Lovely high ceilings and wood beams, tastefully plastered walls and a chic bathroom with a power shower. Air con was a welcome break from a heat outside! Coffee machine was also a nice touch. Only two minus points was no sparkling bottle of wine which was on my VIP perks and the glass on the stairs needs a good clean as lots of hair and dust. We would happily return to this property. "

"Beautiful hotel right on the water. We also enjoyed the outdoor space with a bottle of Prosecco and snacks. The hotel is very quiet and the a/c was nice and cool. We enjoyed the neighborhood- not crowded compared to the Gran Canal. Great eating within minutes of the hotel. And a great bakery just over the bridge. My only complaint is that the shower door isn't sealed enough so water leaks onto the floor."

"Great boutique hotel, friendly knowledgeable staff. Clean, full of character and easy to get to (well, as good as it gets in Venice!) without being too close to the hustle bustle. This is a period property. Be aware there is no lift, but staff are happy to help with luggage. Breakfast was pleasant, but limited. Do read reviews of Venice in general to be aware of the ‘tourist traps’."

"We can't say enough about this place. First, we had arrived 1.5 days late due to flight from USA, and onward to Venice Italy. Our hosts, the best ever, stayed in contact with us, understood, and STILL met us when we arrived. The place was clean and better than pictures. The location was perfect for seeing the beautiful city. Our only problem, not being able to stay longer! Thank you both for making our first stop in Italy great. See you again."
