We would like to sincerely thank Wayan for all his help. He takes such care to assist his guests, and the villas are cleaned thoroughly each day.
For private villas that are set amongst a very authentic part of Canggu we would highly recommend the Adnyana Villas.
Great, clean, quite and we loved it! We would go there again! Great location for a good price! 15 min away from oldman`s. Staff was friendly and helpful!

...just ok...
The villas needs some updating. Peeling paint, cracks in walls etc, and there was a mildew smell in the room given the constant moisture that is all around. The staff was attentive and help me with everything I requested. They arranged my motorbike for my entire time in Bali. They set up a pretty great tour for me as well.
The area is deserted.
Very hard to get to any area and even to get a taxi.
The rooms are pretty old, water pressure are so low, sometimes have to even lean against the wall to shower.
Made a complain that the water isn't hot and have to go back to army days for a cold shower.
Beautiful villa, great service from all staff, what the photos show is what the villa exactly was. Only negative thing was the location, the area is not for tourists as its a good 30mins to anywhere and atleast 20min for a restaurant. Ideal if u plan to stay in ur villa to relax mostly and make ur own meals, there's is no on site or nearby restaurant/cafe.
The hotel has a rundown feel and the rooms have many insects such as flies, ants and moths. There was also a lizard which seeked refuge in the AC unit at night.
The bathroom also had mould spores on the stone which was concerning. The location of the villa was vary far away from the key areas of Kuta and the links so transport may also be an issue.
We paid for 7 nights and only ended up staying for 1 night.
if you are after a bargain than this may be the hotel for you however please be aware of the above potential issues.
Great value hotel, not in busy area, but i like that. Hire a scooter and explore. Few mosquitos but that is expected in area. Kitchen and lounge is open to outside which is nice, take bug spray. Great value with private pool
It's a dated place but you get what you pay for staff try their best although when I was there it only had 2 people working there. I've stayed in other places in Bali which are cheaper & in my opinion better. So shop around.
We are planning to live in Bali for a while and have been through a few short terms villas while looking for a long term rental. This one looked like it had space and a kitchen and met our needs and had reasonable reviews, but was well below expectations especially in terms of cleanliness. To sum it up we paid for 9 days and stayed for one. It was an expensive stay for one night ! No internet or phone, which was apparently not the fault of the villa, but the cleanliness was not even close to to a 4 star standard - yes there were the factors that make up a 4 star place (appliances, pool, massage, "wifi", dvd etc). But the kitchen sink smell was not nice, food scraps in the sponge, food over the microwave, dirty cupboards, mouldy smelly room, urine smell in bathroom, filthy and old couch, heaps of mozzies... i've stayed in backpackers and hostels that have great cleanliness, and are much much cheaper. The villa would not refund us any money just on our need for the internet. I hadnt discussed cleanliness aspects as this is just a given for a place in this price range, and since there are only 2 villas here it is not like we could move to another which was much better. This was a learning experience for us and have since visited villas before booking and inspected to assess the photo-shopping that often occurs.
Beautiful villas, ok rooms. Far from fancy & far from the action. I enjoyed it, but won't repeat it. Staff are very pleasant & accommodating.

Our first time to Bali and the Villas lived up to our expectation of simple uncomplicated accommodation in the area. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help. We enjoyed a massage at the villa and had meals cooked the way we wanted them brought to our room. If you are want a 5 star Sydney style motel then you should holiday in Sydney. This was all about the Bali experience and we were very happy with it. We had a private pool, showered outside and listened to the Balinese music in the distance at night. We will be happy to stay there again on our next trip.
This trip was more than expectation. Perfect hotel. Very nice and friendly staff. I would love to go back again.

Adnyana VnSpa Chemical Toxic Fumes in Superior Rm
My experience was absolutely disappointing, I checked out the following day due to the highly toxic fumes coming from the tiles that had recently been laid.
I recognised the heavy chemical laden smell as the night went on it actually seemed to get worse. Maybe heat and cold in Cangu at certain hours.I woke up with an aching head and a nose that continually ran, my chest heaved with the effects of the fumes.
I checked out the following day even though it was all paid for. Breakfast is nice pancakes and tea which i did enjoy.
If i’d stayed there any longer Id ended up terribly ill. Just beware of the certain smells when booking into hotels in hot tropical countries. It has been my experience that they do lay new tiles quite regularly but do not air the rooms out due to bkings, and they are not going let travel companies know for fear of missing out and having empty rooms. A similar experience in Chaingmai 2013 with one lady having to fly home i ended up bed ridden for 4 days a week plus to get better the other lady was a very fit healthy, nurse who self medicated, she had a runny nose and chest was wracking but kicked it after a few days - she knew what the smell was and that was after 2 nights at this place.
