"The cottage was comfortable and clean. The weather was cold and wet when we were there and so we were not able to enjoy the garden but the rhododendron blooms were pretty. It was a good place for a base to visit southern Cornwall - Land's End, Lizard Point, Michael's Mount were some of the places we visited."

"Lovely cosy little place with a lovely feel and had everything we needed. Bed and sofa were very comfy, bunk beds were a bit tight for an adult and the only bathroom is off of the main bedroom so more suited to a family than three adults. Very easy to find and parking was fine even in our truck (reverse in). It was a good base but walking from there was a bit limited due to having to cross A roads. "

Such an idyllic setting with inspiring views from this lovely beach house where we enjoyed a glass of wine on our terrace, watching the kite surfers and little fishing boats go by. "A lovely, cosy (converted stable, I think?🤔). So welcoming and friendly. Nicely decorated, lovely log-burner and very comfy bed, with great shower. Make sure you get good directions, as down some Cornish country lanes (will need a car), but only 7-min drive to St Ives, and similar to Penzance, so great location. It was quite hot due to weather so a suggestion to provide pedestal fans in future during summer. The location is superb only 5 mins drive away from the lovely beach of Portreath and local Tesco stores."

"Unfortunately the tv was not working and the replacement also didn’t work so that was a big disappointment . The cottage generally was clean and tidy but could do with modernisation. I was not sad to leave . "

"The house is really brilliantly located in the village close to the shops and cafes but also an easy walk to the coast and exploration of the historic tin mining area. We and our dogs enjoyed walks not having to go in the car, and the house provided everything we wanted to come back to. Comfy beds, sharp knives in the kitchen - everything very relaxing"

"Ian was very helpful given Vrbo platform comms was awful (App may be better). Had a lovely couple of days stay and excellent local dog walking and Beach a short walk too. Cottage was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Well positioned for local coastal adventuring. Would recommend arriving in day light as the car park is not lit and access for unloading everything was not that straightforward! Otherwise a great stay."
