"Slight negatives first. The property was advertised as pet friendly and with TV/internet. The instructions prior to check in said no pets and no TV. We resolved the first issue but it did cause worry as we were already travelling. There was a modem but the internet signal was weak to the point of being unusable. The only issue with the property was the drainage in one of the bathrooms was poor. Turning on the basin tap and the water returned through the shower outlet. I think it would be helpful...

"Another lovely week at Casa Linda. Located a short 5 minute drive from Carveiro town, it's close enough for access to restaurants etc but just far enough away to be nice and peaceful. The villa was clean and well equiped for all you need and the heated pool was heaven. Everthing was well organised for us, so no hassle to find, check in etc. Quick friendly responses to any queries. Such a relaxing week. Can't recommend highly enough"

"We were there in September and it was very quiet. Condo is spacious and spotlessly clean. Nicely decorated and the kitchen was fully equipped with the latest gadgets. You can walk to the center of town but it is much longer walk uphill on the way home! A few restaurants and a small grocery store are just a few minutes walk away. "Great central location which allowed us to tour much of the Algarve. Close to all amenities and beaches. Would recommend a car for this location. Pool was well kept and fortunately we had great end of September and beginning of October weather. Extra activities included golf at Alto golf club and a nice boat tour out of Portimão. Auto dromo international race complex as well as lots of great hiking and cafes in many towns."
