"Absolutely perfect location in very close proximity to the water and my scuba boat in the Marina. I would definitely recommend adding on the breakfast as they had a lot of great options and it was very convenient before going out to explore the city every day. I love having a view of the city, which allowed me to see the massive bat fly out every evening at dusk! The staff were incredibly helpful and my room was very clean and uncomfortable."

"The hotel was very good and the location cannot be beaten. Covered parking and lots of restaurants nearby were very convenient. "

"Didn't order breakfast, room clean but needs to be refurbished. Ironing board had no padding hence needed to put towel under to allow clothes to iron properly. Cost $22 to park the car. Much better places in Cairns, probably won't stay again same price or below. Bed and pillows comfortable. "

"The were two curtain tracks in the first room we stayed at, but only one fabric curtain. This was not a problem on the first night (although it is nice when curtain tracks overlap so there is not a gap where the curtains meet). On the second night, it was a problem as several very bright bursts of light came through the curtains throughout the night - bright enough to wake me up when I had dozed off. In our second room, there were two curtains - one made of blockout fabric and one sheer. A much better arrangement."
