    To be on the island and snorkel on the reef is pure bliss. We saw turtles and reef sharks and all kinds of wonderful fish and stunning coral

    The stores for gear hire closed way too quickly and it wasn't stated on the website. Two afternoons after 4PM I was left unable to do most activities as we didn't know about the time limitation, which means I could have planned to stay at Cairns instead.

    Long queue for check-in and check out. I found the room very dirty, Bathroom in particular. Balcony also wasn't not even swiped. There was a lot of sand on it. Dinner a la carte in the restaurant was very disappointing and expensive. I had a Black rissoto which was the special of the day and it was just terrible, I'm sorry. Im just being honest. Staff did not explain anything about the resort, or where to go, didn't promote breakfast or dinner. Just grab your key and go. At least kayaks should be included in the resort, but not, you have to pay for every single thing on top of the room. I wouldn't stay again, it's just not a good value .

    Rooms were good. Had a studio and the only natural light was from a window next to the walkway, not private so kept curtains closed and room was very dark. Staff were very helpful and polite. Quite a few things for kids to do. Internet and phone reception only at lobby, even then it was a bit hit and miss. Nudey Beach had the best reception.
