"We have stayed at Astor house before so we came back to the same apartment. They had upgraded the sofas to recliners which was a nice surprise. The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away. It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet. The place is clean and well maintained and the host kindly provided some biscuits and milk. I would highly recommend this place."

The room was very hot even with the window open which made it difficult to sleep. However, the breakfast was very good. It was a buffet with my favourite tinned tomatoes an option. "Lovely guest house in a quiet area, but just a few minutes walk from the sea front We received a lovely warm welcome from Lynn & Scott Our room with an en suite bathroom with a shower was lovely fresh & clean The bed and pillows were super comfortable We were there to celebrate my husband’s 65th birthday and a card & celebration banner were left in the room. Such a nice touch and so thoughtful Breakfast the following morning was delicious and very substantial Fruit juice, tea & coffee, cereals, fresh fruit salad, yoghurts, toast & a very tasty full English cooked breakfast. We will certainly stay here again when visiting lovely Babbacombe and would highly recommend Babbacombe Palms Guest House"
