First class B & B

The Cleveland B&B is a gem of a guest house. Amazing rooms, breakfast is first class. And nothing is too much for the hosts Matt & Lissanne.

Amazing hosts and fab place to stay

Fantastic place to stay. Very warm welcome. Lizanne & Matt have an amazing place that is fresh and very clean. Nothing is to much bother. Lovely spacious room. Lots to choose from on the breakfast menu and was outstanding. Looking forward to going back again.

Long Weekend

Welcome was good and explained everything about working current situation. Room was very comfortable clean and well decorated. Cannot quite see the sea but its far better to walk down to the front and experience it first hand. Car park a bit tight but manageable and plenty of on street parking.

A relaxing stay

Set in a quiet road the hotel is about 15 minutes walk into Torquay. The hosts made us feel welcome and safe, COVID controls were in place and explained on arrival. Breakfast, served overlooking the garden was varied and freshly cooked. Our room was exceptionally clean, the decor well maintained throughout the hotel. Complimentary tea and coffee were always available and fudge on arrival was a nice welcoming touch. It was our first time in Torquay and Lissanne took time to explain the area and make suggestions and offer tips based on what we may like. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again should we return to the area.

Very good service

We stayed 1 night at Cleveland Guest house. Very kind hosts, clean and spacious room as well as bathroom, comfortable bed. They served wonderful breakfast in a dinning room with a garden view. Overall we’re satisfied with our stay at Cleveland hotel guest house.

On arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was very clean and had everything I needed for my stay in Torquay. I would deffinetly use Cleveland Guest House again and I would recommend it to friends and family.

Great in every way.

Great accommodation and lovey hosts. Very friendly. Room was very comfortable but it was chilly. After speaking to Lissana she came and tried to turn it on. It didn't make any difference but we were okay. There was also a couch in the bedroom which may have been a sofa bed. The breakfast was lovely a good selection of fruit, yogurt, cereal. And a good full english which was most enjoyable.

Came for a diamond wedding celebration. I absolutely loved my stay at the Cleveland and would love to stay there again. It is 5 star all the way and the biggest and brightest star of all must be the family - Lissanne and Matt Sherwood and their boys. However, I am now 83 and my husband 86 years old. The journey from Solihull is now rather too far for us by car, and with no car the guest house it would be a little too far away from the front for us to manage the walking. Nevertheless, I shall hang on to their address - just in case1 Sheila Hale

Amazing hotel and hosts

Amazing Hotel Guest house. Very friendly host, warm welcome with nice tea and cake. I love the attention to detail. Really nice home-made vanilla fudge found as welcome present in the bedroom, it was very appreciated. The breakfast was really great, tasty and nice attention to detail. The Hotel is in a great location, just a short 10 min walk to the seaside.
