Coast Metro Vancouver Hotel

"I booked this hotel as I was attending a business conference a few blocks. I knew it was an older hotel and wasn't expecting much, just a decent place to spend the night for a reasonable price. However, I was very pleasantly surprised, first with the lovely lady that greeted me upon arrival and checked me in ( I am sorry I don't recall her name). She surprised me with some lovely snacks (compliments of the hotel) to take to my room. The room was newly renovated and very clean. The bathroom was clean with new amenities and a lovely modern mirror with light accent. I was impressed with the bathroom as this is an important aspect when I travel (that bathrooms be very clean). The room had a nice lounge couch for watching TV, along with fridge, microwave and complimentary Kuerig coffee - all things I appreciate when travelling. There was also a small balcony, although it was raining so I didn't use it - but a nice extra feature. The location was also very convenient for my travels as it was just a block away from the Trans Canada Hwy (Hwy 1), and easy to navigate to arrive and leave the city. I will definitely stay again."

"The location of the hotel is awesome. Close to Metrotown and skytrain and bus stops. Very convenient even you don't have a car. Room is spacious and clean and they have these black out blinds which help a lot. Staff are polite and cheerful. Overall, it's a very clean and nice hotel to stay."
