"Chris and Phil were so welcoming and accommodating, we all enjoyed our stay at Maccesfield. So much fun for the whole family. Relaxing on the deck and admiring the picturesque view. Kids relished the chance to dance and chat with the birds, interact and feed the many varieties of farm animals, have snuggles with the guinea pigs and observe (from the 1.5m of course) the reptiles. The opportunity to have a night or two off cooking, but not only that be presented with a generous spread of beautifully cooked food. The dinner was delicious as was the Devonshire tea. We enjoyed many local activities including walks, spotting camels and alpacas and trout finishing was a highlight too. (The staff there are fantastic as well) Thank you both for welcoming us into your home."

"Easy to park at the door & no steps to walk up (had requested this). We liked the layout of the room with a king sized bed & a very long bench. Facilities were all that we needed with basic cutlery & crockey, kettle & toaster & excellent little fridge which was not iced up! The premisis is old & dated but clean & comfortable. Will visit again when needed. "
