Northwinds Hotel Revelstoke

"The hotel is beside train tracks. Wasn't a big deal, they supply earplugs in the bathroom. The ice buckets are just out in the open by the ice machine. There needs to be bags to line the ice buckets. That's just gross putting the ice into buckets that are open to everything and anything. The walls in the room we were in were pretty rough. Could definitely use some filler and paint. The bedding, beds, pillows, towels and bathroom were all very nice. Free breakfast was just like any other continental breakfast. Not very many tables to sit at. We would stay here again for one night."

"Our check in process was quick but not particularly friendly. Our room was small but adequate. The bathroom door scraped over the tiles and was hard to open. Breakfast was included but the breakfast room was small and crowded. Only 1 toaster worked so we gave up. Was ok for the money."

"Clean but dated and untidy room…bed sheets were not well folded. Service seemed reluctant and not very friendly. The gym was good. Location- about half hour walk to downtown"

"The staff was very friendly. The room was satisfactory for our overnight stay. We were disappointed by the number of restaurants that were closed on Tuesday and Wednesday but of course this is not the fault of the hotel. However, the hotel’s restaurant did not serve breakfast on Thursday and Friday, so that wasn’t great. Please at least cater to your guests staying at the hotel."

"The room and facility was spotlessly clean, which is always lovely. The staff I interacted with were friendly and very helpful. The physical plant needs an update. The Sandman Hotel is showing it's age with wear and tear visible throughout the facility."
