About this property

Creekside Oasis with private hot tub

  • Spacious, eco friendly, 1 bedroom + den suite with all the custom comforts you would expect at a high end mountain resort accommodation. Fully stocked kitchen, cooking staples, coffee bar, large island for food prep and gathering. Cozy media room, reclining loungers, work desk and chair. Radiant floor heat throughout the suite. Patio doors in primary bedroom provide a picturesque view of green space oasis and flowing creek from the comfort of the hand crafted queen log bed. There are black out curtains, a comfy love seat, reading lamp, large wardrobe and dresser along with enough space for morning yoga sun salutations. Every attention to detail has been thoughtfully prepared from silky smooth bed linens, spa robes for the hot tub, kitchen staples, games, books, puzzles, and the comfort of a separate media room from the main living area. Just a few steps down from the patio deck are chairs for sitting along side the creek. A perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee in nature. You'll enjoy a soothing soak in the private hot tub after a day of play with all the fun activities there is to enjoy at Sun Peaks Resort. Creekside Oasis is just a few steps to the Burfield ski lift or 2 min. drive to main village centre for dining, shopping and resort activities along with biking, hiking, snowshoeing and walking trails directly from Creekside Oasis.

    Please note: There is currently a housing construction project across the creek from the B&B. Weekday, daytime noise is variable. Excellent sound proofing within the B&B.

Cute and comfortable daylight basement apartment … lovely creek side setting, good access to resort via free shuttle and ski-in access … down 2 flights of outside stairs from parking spot which may be a concern for some with mobility issues … overall a wonderful place that we would book again without hesitation …

Great Ski Extended Weekend!

I highly recommend this property and you can't find a better location for a great winter ski vacation or a great summer golf and hiking vacation. The property has everything you need & Sun Peaks is wonderful!

Sun Peaks ski days

This place was great. A well stocked kitchen, a hot tub, a little office space for working, a shuttle stop for the resort right across the street, and one of the area ski lifts just a short walk away. We will definitely come back.

Creekside Oasis

Mel and Leo’s place in SunPeaks was perfect. Very quiet, well located and it came with everything we needed. The hot tub is an extra bonus. After getting stuck in a freak hailstorm on the mountain, the hot tub was fantastic. Leo’s travel tips came in handy and all the local advice was appreciated. Next time we will need to stay a bit longer.

Very cozy VRBO with hot tub.

Very nicely decorated and comfortable place. Loved sitting in the hot tub and watching the falling snow. Hope to come back again in the summer to see the stream flowing. The owners were very informative about the area. We had a great relaxing time. Thank you!

Quaint place to stay

My husband and I had an anniversary get away for a few days in Aug 2023. This was a cute and quaint place to stay. We enjoyed the hot tub both in the morning and in the evening. The creek was pleasant to sit and drink coffee by. The check in/check out, was simple. The owner thought of everything you might want while there. Will definitely stay again.

Ski Vacation

What a perfect spot to stay for our 2 week ski vacation at Sun Peaks! We really enjoyed the Jacuzzi hot tub after long days on the slopes. Peaceful backyard location made relaxing in hot tub extra enjoyable. The in resort shuttle stop is right in front of the property, so convenient that we never used our car. Would love to return!

My husband and I stayed there for our anniversary and we couldn't have loved it more. It was warm, welcoming, comfortable, and had everything we could have wanted. The space was tastefully decorated, full of personal touches, and was stocked with interesting books, games, puzzles, weights, yoga mats, and many beverage options. The private hot tub in the lovely setting of the back yard and near the creek was so relaxing. Can't get much better than enjoying a morning coffee at bistro set looking at the view or sitting in the chairs by the creek. We will be back for sure!

Hot tub was a lifesaver on our multiday snowboard trip. What a beautiful place Leo and Mel have created. No where better to spend the holidays and Christmas - Mel and Leo are incredible hosts and the small details that show how much they care for their guests shine out in the small things. After a heavy snowfall on our way out to the ski hill we noticed they had taken the time to brush off our car's windows of snow. There were several small moments of care and thought that came throughout our stay and we had a wonderful christmas retreat here. Will definitely come back if we have the chance, Emily thinks Sun peaks may now be our favorite hill and im sure thats due in no small part of the hospitality we experienced here. Thank you Mel and Leo in creating such a beautiful place.

Fabulous Accommodation

This accommodation lacks for nothing. Comfortable, extremely well equipped, nothing has been left to want. So much attention to detail all with the renter in mind. The owners are caring and so easy to deal with. Located a short 5 minute drive to the public parking at the ski slope. Also a ski shuttle bus stop almost immediately in front of accommodation should you decide to not drive to hill yourself. The private hot tub is certainly an added bonus, This was our second stay at Creekside Oasis and we look forward to our next visit!

Cozy Retreat with Thoughtful Touches

We had a wonderful stay at this vacation rental! The place was spotless and well-organized, which made us feel right at home. Although we didn't use them, the thoughtful touch of providing snacks was much appreciated.The kitchen was a standout feature, being very well-equipped with plenty of quality pots and lids, a variety of oils, and functional salt and pepper grinders. The discrete signs for light switches and water usage were clear and helpful, and the night lights made navigating the suite in the dark easy.One small issue was the kitchen fan, which was a bit noisy. We discovered on the second day that setting 2 is the low speed.After spending days on the hill and exploring the village, relaxing in the hot tub was a perfect way to unwind. There were ample towels and robes, adding to the comfort and relaxation of our stay.Overall, we had a comfortable and relaxing experience and would definitely recommend this place!

Creekside Oasis was the perfect place to stay in Sun Peaks - comfy, quiet, wonderfully appointed, great location. Melanie and Leo are kind, generous, and very thoughtful hosts. We stayed for a whole month and loved every day. Wonderful bed, great TV room, strong WiFi, and we loved having a washing machine and dryer. We can’t recommend it highly enough!
