Reception nice and fresh smelling, maybe a bit over powering. Friendly service for check in. Mattress was like cement, I waited over 5 hours after I complained. Was waiting for a pillow topper to be put on. Pillows on bed were useless, had no life. Asked for new ones but never received. Smoking on balcony … is disgusting, can’t believe this is still allowed. Room was clean and tidy but dusty. I was sneezing a lot. The lift is terrible. The bed linen and towels though were crisp and clean… I was very happy with that. Just a pity about the rest. Don’t think I’d stay here again… was disappointed in waiting so long for a pillow topper… I understand I’m not the only guest but when I get told that it was getting sort out straight away and then wait so long…not good enough for me and also the smoking on the balcony… the stench from the smoking still comes through to the room. It was gross.

This is at best a 3 star property. I recommend reading reviews before booking. In addition to the tired and grubby corridors and the single rickety and slow lift, the bathroom is extremely cramped and would not be suitable for people over 185cms. Fast internet and good channel selection on TV.

We were looking forward to staying, and it has always looked great on the website, however upon arrival and getting our room, we discovered it wasn't as nice as we thought. The smell was terrible, even though it looked like it had been cleaned it wasn't The aircon wasn't working just blowing out hot smelly air, most of the furniture was broken or badly scuffed, exposed wiring from tv, mould on the ceiling, bathroom was dirty. Linen mix matched and looked unclean and had small holes in it. Even the blanket was that bad I wouldnt even have used it as blanket for my dog. Well over priced.
