"This Inn was built in 1801, so it’s a very old Inn. There are not enough superlatives. Fantastic. Awesome. Amazing. Going back definitely. All rooms are beautifully furnished with four-posters and very comfortable chairs. Place to be lived in. Immaculately clean. As soon as you walk in you want to stay forever. Warm. Delicious homemade breakfasts. Innkeeper Elizabeth is friendly and accommodating. We could have talked for hours. Still blissing out days later. "

"Awesome location. Beautiful scenery. Worked for me and 3 of my buddies on a golf trip. Lacked some basic amenities. Some items were broken prior to us arriving. Inside of stove was very dirty. We made steaks the first night and the stove almost smoked the house out. Could have used some extra pillows and blankets as we had a couch sleeper and someone with a cot to accommodate 4 adult men. Overall we enjoyed our stay and worked for what we needed. Will definitely be back and will come more...

"We had a great time staying slopeside. It is a short walk down the road to get to Sundowner. We weren't first chair but we almost were. The house itself was clean and tidy. Had everything one would need and even had a coffee maker and Keurig. We will be planning to stay here again if we have the chance."

"We were very impressed with the overall layout of the unit. Nice living room. Bedrooms were just as advertised. the hot tub in the master bedroom was perfect. for us skiers Killington resort was just up the road. Here are a couple of negatives that we encountered. 1) The dishwasher had a note on it that said "Please do not use the dishwasher it is not draining" then under this the previous tenant wrote "this sign was here when we arrived. "The Ultimate Eastern United States Ski Experience! Majestic mountain views and steps from the slopes! That’s only some of the finer points of the luxurious and rustic Mountain Inn at Killington. Situated at 47 Old Mill Road in Killington, VT, this inn is a 1 minute car ride or short walk to the “Beast of the East” known as Killington. The walk is perhaps 5 minutes from door-to-chairlift at Ramshead Mountain—one of six peaks that compromise Killington ski resort, which looms in the distance from the grounds of the inn. The inn is cozy, quiet, clean, modern yet rustic, and dog-friendly. There’s lots to enjoy from the on-site whiskey distillery and restaurant (Still on the Mountain), the bar, and the breakfast nook which serves a generous array of morning pick-me-ups including scones, sweet rolls, fruit, cold cereal in individually packaged bowl containers, Chobani Greek yogurt, water, juice, coffee and tea. I took my dog with me on a ski trip and we stayed two nights in April. On property you will also find a gift shop, live music on Friday and Saturday nights, an outdoor heated pool (no dogs allowed) plus a small gym and game room with a pool table and corn hole set-up for indoor fun. There is no air conditioning, and my room got hot at times so to cool it off you may opt to shut off the heat and open a window. I did, and the mountain air cooled things off nicely. My room was beautifully designed with a walk-in shower with sliding glass door, two queen beds, wooden headboards!"
