Beautiful upon arrival we were greeted by the host. She took plenty of time to show us around the property and explain how the bed-and-breakfast works and all the details of the winery brewery excellent day! Days of day.
This is a charming BNB. Our room was gorgeous, the bed very comfortable and the breakfast delicious. The inn keepers are delightful and the definition of hospitable and welcoming. The Inns setting is lovely with well kept and lovely grounds. A real bonus is that right next door is a craft beer and wine tasting room. The award winning beer was great!
Great little BAnd B just outside town.
Shares property with a brewery and also offers a small food menu for dinner
Fantastic view of the golf course 5 th hole
Great hospitality and crazy good breakfast
Bob and Rhonda were wonderful hosts. This beautiful 18th century inn was such a pleasant place to stay. They had a restaurant right on the property with excellent food. They had a bar with craft beer brewed on the premises. We plan to go back on our next trip to the area.
Visiting Middlebury College with the family. Surrounding town was fine, but just fine. This place was very pretty, and the owners were incredibly nice and accommodating. Breakfast each morning was very good. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Only problem was the bathroom to our room, which was super tiny. None of us could really maneuver around in the shower, it was so small. Bathroom didn't have a fan, either, so there was not a lot of privacy when using the toilet. We liked the place very much otherwise, but the bathroom was definitely a turn off.
Owners were so nice, bed was great, linens and towels were wonderful. House is very old and only drawback (which is original to the house and should not be changed!) is the bar/latch style door handles. The Violet Room has its private bathroom across the hall landing, but if you get up in the night as we do, you do make a lot of noise rattling those handles! Walls are thin. But that didn't disturb us, since the other patrons on our visit were very quiet and considerate. If you are looking for the quietest room, I suspect it would be the one with the little porch (trillium?). Not sure its walls adjoin the others, and it is also in a separate part of the house. I have allergies, and did not find the old house to be a problem. Overall, it was a very nice stay!
We were only at the Inn at Neshobe River for one night, but it was lovely. Our hosts were very nice and accommodating. We were arriving to the area to move our son in to MIddlebury College. We will be returning to the Inn sometime over the next 4 years for sure. We had a room with a little porch that overlooked the yard, with it's gardens & outdoor area for the microbrewery guests. Beyond that was a golf course. Very peaceful.
This is a great little place to stay. It is quaint, quiet and peaceful; and the owners are friendly and engaging. It is located on a little used road, right next to a micro-brewery; where guests are treated to brewery beer and local wines. We truly enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to anyone who's looking for a peaceful getaway.
Quaint B&B in an Inn associated with Foley craft brewery.
The proprietors were very friendly and accommodating.
The bed was not very comfortable - not unusual for small B&Bs.
Walls were pretty thin, at least on 2nd floor, so privacy is below average.
A beer tasting at the affiliated brewery, friendly, personable owners, a fine old inn and a fine breakfast in the morning - from beginning to end, it was a great experience. I easily and gladly recommend this Inn to fellow travellers.
We were an unconfirmed late arrival. They bent over backward to make us feel at home.. Breakfast was wonderful. The conversation was wonderful. They were helpful getting us oriented to the area. Our comfortable room was on second floor with narrow steep stairs, but Robert was very helpful getting our bags up, even though it was late at night. Beautiful area. Excellent price.
