"Charming and memorable stay with Dr Daniele and Casa Nini. Dr Daniele was utterly charming and helpful, from directing us into the car park to making dinner reservations (trust him! The food and views at Sottovento are amazing!). The morning of our departure he served a hearty continental breakfast and directed us to a local hike. He was a large part of our remarkable experience and I plan to return!"

"We had a wonderful stay! The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. They have a communal lounge area where you can hang out and grab a drink, patio tables outside, and a restaurant that on its own is worth the visit. The breakfast was amazing and very filling. Rooms are serviced every day. Our apartment was comfortable with everything we needed. We chose to walk to and from the lake and although steep in parts, it is totally doable. There is a dedicated path so you aren’t walking on the road. They also offered to shuttle us which came in handy when we needed to catch our train the last day. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Unbeatable views but that's about it. No elevator. Had to lug all of our luggage upstairs ourselves. No help from the staff. Rooms are incredibly outdated and dilapidated. The TV is smaller than my laptop. The shower is the size of a shower on a cruise ship. The restaurant on property is just ok. They try too hard to serve fancy food instead of sticking to a traditional, simple Italian menu. If it wasn't for the incredible view it would have been a total bust."

They clean our room every two hours amazing service. Every activity you want to do on the lake they organized for you and they are very professional and communicative. The staff js friendly and make your stay memorable. The rooms are big and comfortable and brand new. We stayed for our honeymoon and can’t wait to come back. "Civenna was a pleasant surprise. High above the crazy busy city of Beligio, we enjoyed wonderful shops, warm, friendly people and numerous hiking trails. We ventured down to Beligio 2 times, visited Melzi Botanical Gardens and took a boat ride to Como. It was crazy busy. We were so happy to return to the quiet, high above the crowds.
