This was a fantastic place to stay. It was up and out of the centre of Bellagio and was a true hidden gem. The shower was amazing. Better than home! Breakfast was wonderful fresh-baked croissants and everything. Highly recommend.

We spent a delightful 2 nights here. We LOVED it! Their bed was comfortable. The included breakfast was lavish and delicious. The best thing was the people. the manager was so warm and helpful. The owner actually gave us a ride back from the town where we had dinner and then to the bus in Bellagio the next morning. This place is outside the town but has easy access and is so much quieter!

Staff is very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was good and rooms clean. The location is very close to a secondary ferry that doesn’t have an extensive schedule as the main ferry’s. It’s about a 20-25 walk into Bellagio or quick ride on ferry . It is a nice stay away from busy Bellagio .

Learn from my mistake: Locanda Della Maria is close to the SAN GIOVANNI ferry stop. I made the mistake of assuming it was near the Bellagio ferry stop and had to make a very difficult walk to get there. Once there, it was TERRIFIC! Great value for money; very helpful staff, good breakfast and close to two “off the beaten path” places to eat; one casual (Nene) and one upscale local cuisine (Ittiturismo Mella ) both very good and CONVENIENT. Ask one of the staff for tips and your time in the Lake Como area will be much easier.

Our room was super clean, cute, and was located in a good spot. Breakfast was also great as well! The only slight thing I didn’t like was the bed was kind of hard. I’m a small person so if it’s firm it’s just not comfortable to me, but otherwise it was great and I’d definitely stay again!

Great location in a quiet and still close to Bellagio Downtown. Air conditioning everywhere and very clean room. Laura has been amazing in receiving us and spending time giving us all the tips from a local person. Available any time you have a question. Breakfast was very good and freshly prepared and on time. I recommend the location. You feel well received like family.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience here! Everything was perfect! It was peaceful, good restaurant close by, the free breakfast was delicious and fresh. Most of all our host Laura was fantastic! She communicated with us from the time we booked until the time we checked out. She was so pleasant and helpful! I highly recommend this place and will certainly come back here!

A beautiful guesthouse, super clean, comfy bed, spacious room with a delicious breakfast served each morning. About a 20 walk down into the town center, highly recommend!!

Nice stay!

We had a great experience at Locanda Della Maria. Laura and Giovanni were hospitable and friendly. We had the room in the top floor which was spacious and quiet. Parking was easy and the surrounding area quiet and pretty.
