"First time in Italy, this hotel was extremely accommodating. Francesco is one of the employees there and he will go above and beyond to help out guests. He drove us down town and picked us up on multiple occasions, gave us free breakfast vouchers for a great local breakfast eatery, and answered all of our questions. Something else that was reassuring during this stay was Francesco’s english! He was very well spoken which allowed us to learn more about the city and recommendations. If you’re traveling to Italy, don’t look any farther. This is the place!"

"This is a very unique place to stay, the hosts are incredibly kind and friendly, they picked us up from the train station gave us a quick tour and gave us some very helpful advice. It’s a way from the crowds of Varenna, Bellagio and Menaggio, just a short distance to Varenna by train. It’s very tranquil clean and comfortable. It’s a beautiful area for a walk down to the beach, take the path straight to the centre of town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would love to go back someday thank you Steffy and Giuseppe for allowing us to watch you make ravioli for your incredible food and sharing your stories with us. Until we meet again, ciao 😘"

"The apartment was perfect for our family of 3. We loved the location - literally a 5 mins drive to Varenna piazza, Villa Monestero/Villa Cipressi. Property is amazing - VERY clean and well maintained. Includes parking for a car which was very convenient. The views are amazing…the property is exactly like the pictures. We didnt realize from the listing, but the property is also connected to the waterfront via a a tunnel under the road…there is a small pebble laced area/beach where you can relax with a few beach chairs.Marco and Francesca were great hosts and we will DEFINITELY stay here next time we’re in this area."
