We chose to eat in the restaurant one night due to it's vista, the food was great but the service was average (slow & mixed up the orders) which was a surprise. "

"My wife, myself, and our two kids stayed here (2.5yrs old and the other 11mo.). We absolutely enjoyed our time here! It is perfect for families because of the yard, plenty of space, and safe and easy access to swimming. Marco and his family were incredibly kind and friendly throughout the whole process. They even helped us arrange a babysitter so my wife and I could have a date night. Being able to find and stay in a places like this is why I love VRBO and similar sites. The only drawback of this house is that it’s a 30-40min walk from Varenna (a walk on an Italian street where much of it does not have sidewalks). We had a car and were able to find parking in Varenna’s parking garage on the south side of town (even in the busy time of July, but we made sure to arrive early before 9am). Overall I highly recommend this place."
"This is an incredible hotel, with perhaps the best location in Lake Como. Giulia was very kind and helpful upon check-in. And the best was to come - the location and the view (if you get a lake viewing room) are unbeatable! Varenna is perhaps the best town on Como, and you are steps from the Lido (small beach), beautiful walks, and the walk up to Castello di Vezio. Regarding the room- it was super clean, comfortable and had all we needed, with nice small touches. We did not agree with any of the concerns others manifested (eg, noise)"
