"We had a wonderful stay! The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. They have a communal lounge area where you can hang out and grab a drink, patio tables outside, and a restaurant that on its own is worth the visit. The breakfast was amazing and very filling. Rooms are serviced every day. Our apartment was comfortable with everything we needed. We chose to walk to and from the lake and although steep in parts, it is totally doable. There is a dedicated path so you aren’t walking on...

Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni

10/10 Excellent

"Excellent exp"

Hotel Beretta

10/10 Excellent

"Very convenient location. We stayed in Room 10 which has an outstanding view of the lake. We arrived by train and the hotel was a quick 5 minute walk downhill. Close to the ferry with restaurants nearby. If you stay here, make sure to walk down the waterfront promenade to more restaurants which we preferred. Overall, great experience."

Albergo Milano Hotel & Apartments

10/10 Excellent

"Amazing stay! We got one of the little condos away from the actual hotel. It was a very short walk from main hotel. Breakfast included at main hotel. It was amazing. You can’t beat the views either! We had dinner at their restaurant, highly recommend reservation. Food was good. You can’t beat walk here from train station, roughly 10-15 min walk. Everything in Varenna is a short walk from here."

Wonderful Casa Veranda

10/10 Excellent

"My husband and I were so grateful to stay at such a great location in Varenna. It was an optimal spot and our host was lovely. We highly recommend meeting them at the meeting point and time in order to get into the place. It was clean, but can be a little hot (especially in the second room). It was completely worth it for that view and hospitality. We are extremely grateful to have stayed in this spot.My only suggestion would be for the bathroom window curtain to be a litttttle longer since there is a restaurant directly across from it ;)Would highly recommend this spot and the hosts."

Varenna Perfect Place 2 Suites

10/10 Excellent

"THIS PLACE WAS UNBELIEVABLE!!! First and foremost the communication with the host was unbelievable!! Very responsive EVERYTIME!! From the moment we stepped off the train in Varenna we were met by the host and he escorted us to the apartments. He explained everything about the units and gave suggestion on what, when and where to do almost everything in Varenna and Bellagio. The view from each unit was perfect for morning coffee and at the end of a long day, a nightcap. Each unit was impeccably clean and had all of the amenities you would need for a stay. AC was needed and worked very well. The units are very close to the train station, a grocery store and a small restaurant for breakfast, cappuccino and a light lunch. Access to transportation was just at the bottom of the hill. No car is needed. I don't think you could find a better place for your money!!!"

Varenna Sunset by Wonderful Italy

10/10 Excellent

"Varenna Sunset lived up to its name. The view from the balcony is amazing whether first thing the morning or at sunset. It was our favorite place to take in the mountains, lake and daily lake activityProperty is a short walk from Varenna-Esino station. Check in was easy as instructions were clear and concise. There is a small elevator available if needed, but the unit is only one flight up. Property is well appointed and fit our needs perfectly. It is above a boat rental business and restaurant so there may be some noise in the morning. There is a ferry station in front, making travel to Bellagio, Como or other cities easy. You are also a very short, picturesque walk from the waterfront shops and restaurants in Varenna. There is also an alternative route on the main road behind the unit to the upper sections of Varenna, other shops and restaurants. It is just a short climb up some stairs. This is a fabulous location and one we would gladly book again should the opportunity to return to Varenna arise."
