"Room was great as a base to explore. We were only there for a quick breakfast and to sleep but beds were comfy, room quiet but could do with some modernisation of the bathroom shower. Overall a good hotel, close to San Giovanni station and a short 10 minute walk to the centre of Como. Breakfast typical of most hotels in Italy and would happily stay here again."

"I’ve been fortunate to travel extensively and stay at some incredible hotels around the world, but I can honestly say that the Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como is the best hotel I’ve ever experienced. The property is absolutely stunning. The setting on Lake Como is breathtaking, the rooms are beautiful, and every corner of the hotel feels peaceful, elegant, and thoughtfully designed. I sat looking at the lake on many occasions and I will never forget the peace that I felt. The service is simply exceptional. Every member of the staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making our stay unforgettable. Cesar was fantastic, he greeted me on my arrival and immediately I felt very at home. It was like I had known him for a long time. He really was excellent. It was authentic hospitality at its very best. You paid attention to every detail and somehow always seemed to be one step ahead of anything I needed. It’s rare to leave a hotel already thinking about when you can come back, but that’s exactly how I felt. Thank you to everyone who made my stay so memorable. This was an unforgettable experience, and I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. I wil definitely be back."

"**Five stars — perfect base in Como** Absolutely perfect stay. The location is right in the heart of Como, which made everything walkable — the lakefront, restaurants, shops, all just a few minutes away. Transit is a real strength here. It's an easy walk from Como San Giovanni station, and it's practically next door to Como Lago, which makes arriving and getting around genuinely effortless. The room was spotlessly clean and pleasantly modern, and — importantly for summer — the air conditioning worked beautifully. That's not a given in this part of Italy, so it made a real difference after a warm day out. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, always happy to help with directions or recommendations. Nothing to fault. If you're looking for a comfortable, well-run place in a great location, this is it. We'd stay here again without hesitation."

"Rooms are very small. Bathroom is small but functionall. Walls are very thin. Thought the people next door were in our room. Luckily they quieted down early. Substantial road noise. Property is right on the street. Elevator is a bit sketchy. Better to use the stairs. Now the positives. Staff was on point. Hotel is situated between Como and"
