"Thoughtful owner with every conceivable amenity. Even the fridge was full of goodies. The back enclosed verandah was wonderful for our pets.The bush at the rear was perfect for a dog walk. Very safe and secure overall. The view towards the mountains from the elevated street was beautiful. The closeness of shops and eateries was great.Did we say we’d be back? You bet."

"The Avoca Motel is perfectly situated. On the highway, but set well back so noise is not a problem. It is just a short walk to the town facilities. Parking is convenient and there is lots of open space. "

"This property was a really lovely escape. It was well furnished and to a high standard although the mattress in the second bedroom was very firm and the shower probably needs updating.We really enjoyed the thoughtful gestures from the owner - nespresso machine and dog friendly being two very welcome bonuses.The garden is full of grass binidis which got stuck in our shoes and in the dogs paws, just for awareness. Also it suited us just fine but there is no wifi.Communication with the owner was friendly and easy, and the location was perfect just a short stroll to Dunolly bakery."

"This was such a great little room for such a cheap motel. I think it's been recently renovated because it looked immaculate. Even though you could park right outside your room, the room inside felt like it was in a highrise hotel. And although small, it had great amenities, including a small fridge, cutlery, kettle, a table, tv etc. The bathroom was modern and shower was wonderful. It was also easy to access since I was texted my room number and access code before my arrival, so I didn't need to speak to anyone to check in, I literally just drove up and went inside. I was pleasantly surprised by this accommodation."
