"We both enjoyed the Treehouse inside and out. The views were magnificent. Weather was great. It was neat to see the fog come down and sweep past us during the storm the last night there! It’s so quiet and peaceful. Everyone in town was marvelous and the town restaurants were delicious too! Our favorite part…the 91 steps up and down! LOL You do get used to them and keeps your weight down! Oh and also the enormous pine cones! We don’t have them that size here in Delaware! We would definitely stay here again if we make it back! Thank you for such and cute little cabin and all the history on the walls!"

"The house was very comfortable for 6 adults. Lots of nice places to sit, whether to join the group or be off by yourself for a while. The house was also very functional, no problem getting the fireplace, heat, or anything else we needed to work. We didn't really cook so can't say anything about stove, etc. The last night and morning it got pretty cold, windy, and rainy, but no problems being comfortable in the house. All in all a very pleasant place for a family from all over the country to get together."

"We just love coming to this property. This time we came for a wedding at the old fire house next to the lake so talk about convenience. Came early to enjoy the outdoor, was able to get dressy for the wedding and go to and from only a short distance. Full amenities so we can bring our own food. The owners leave firewood to use and on day 2 the dog and rain rolled in so we used it all! With another night in front of us, and to our surprise, the owners refilled our wood discreetly and messaged us with the update…seamlessly. Sincere thanks to the hosts. Always a pleasure to stay."

"We stayed here for Easter weekend on a whim. This house has an amazing view of Stonewall Peak and Lake Cuyamaca. The beds are very comfy, the whole house is super clean. The wrap around decks are huge and pristine. The owner is a nice and welcoming guy, very responsive and made the whole process easy. My two teenagers have already made me pinky swear to return in the summer, they loved the upstairs bedrooms with the cool barn door and private balcony. I loved the sanctuary of the bedroom on the main level."

"Instruction from the owner were very clear and simple. It’s important to understand and respect this location and the fire hazards. The cabin was beautiful and what we were looking for, but the view was by far the best part. Parking was a little tricky if you have guests so I would recommend reading the parking instructions carefully, but it’s understandable considering the location. Thank you for a great stay!"
