"Easily 30 mins of mountain road on the drive up but friendly drivers who didn't tailgate made the drive up bearable. Room was old and without tv but spotlessly clean. Lots of free activities, restaurant has the most amazing food despite the location and a slightly higher than normal price. Definitely eat at the restaurant for dinner but watch out for their friendly parrots who would sit with you and eat your food. We booked a 2d1n and should have stayed at least a day more. Don't miss the alpaca place at the bottom of the mountain, near the OReilly's winery. $3 to get up close and feed alpacas but a lovely experience. Manager's greeting is free with a glass of champagne and a nice talk about the history of the place. Staff were all friendly, loved the animal encounter show, got up close with sugar gliders. Overall a lovely good time. Would revisit!"

"The room was spacious, very clean, and the cleaning staff took extra care to make sure I had everything I needed each day. The air conditioning and all appliances worked very well. The owners are very friendly and caring - I felt welcomed like family. They have a list of all the upgrades they have made, and all the upgrades they are undertaking, which shows me their willingness to improve the quality of their customers' experience. My stay was quiet, peaceful, and very close to town for food. It was great value and I highly recommend staying there."

"Katy the owner was so friendly as well her dog Butler. Beautiful river which is easy access from the cabins. Our stay was short due to other committments during the day but by night it was so peaceful. We bonded because of no wi-fi which was great not having kids or us on technology. Different experience for us from our normal hotel/motel stay but we loved it. "
