"Overall we enjoyed our stay, however we probably expected more from the price point and the room needed a little bit of TLC. The main building was aesthetically pleasing with eye catching quirky touches. We did enjoy our breakfast experience overall and the scrambled egg was very tasty! The quality was definitely there regarding the ingredients; sausage, bacon etc. The staff were warm and friendly especially Cameron who was very hospitable, thank you! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again but we would prefer a different room within the main house."

"This was one of the finest travel experiences my husband and I ever had to be underground yeah. At first we were disappointed because we thought we were going to be in the underground brick bunker room and we weren't we were just in a plain old underground room but when I talked to the staff about it they upgraded us to the most beautiful room I've ever seen with a huge copper bathtub, a four poster bed the most luxurious comfortable place we've ever stayed. The the food was superb, incredible eggs benedict for breakfast, lovely steaks for dinner and a lovely outdoor garden where you can sit -- even in the rain because they have lovely plastic domes over some of the tables with lights and heaters oh it was wonderful."
