The surrounding village is also beautiful. We came during the hot month of September and it was still very enjoyable to be in the hot springs. "Vessel Inns really growing on me. Rooms are usually bigger than most standard Japanese biz hotels with free 'proper' coffee in the lobby an added bonus. Breakfast at the downstairs bakery also good."
