"I have stayed at the Havan before and was extremely happy then, as I am now. When we arrived we were greeted in a very professional manner and were kindly upgraded to a suite at the rear of the hotel which was perfect for us. Breakfast/cocktails were of a high standard, and all staff were courteous. I highly recommend this hotel."

"The property was fabulous - just like in the pictures. Everything was well looked after and kept up. Pool was cleaned during our stay and the staff bent over backwards to do so while we were out and about. Wonderful prepared meal on our arrival night as we got in quite late after a long day of travel. The staff do an amazing job of “disappearing” and yet readily available with a simple knock or a quiet call. The driver Putu was knowledgeable, polite, and incredibly flexible. Felt very safe as his passenger. Rooms and bathrooms were regularly cleaned - linens and towels always fresh - beds turned down and AC on ahead of our return in the evenings. Amenities such as the tv, cable and bt speaker allowed for relaxed nights and lounging to music by the pool. Beer and soda refreshments were always available and quite reasonably priced vs even the local grocery store. Location was great - easy walk to grocery store, beach, shops, and restaurants as advertised. Our host was very responsive, even went out of her way to help us work around an airline complication on the in-bound side of our trip. Usually not everything is perfect - but honestly I struggle to find fault with anything - the villas are close so if you have rowdy neighbors it might be noisy? The occasional scooter/motor cycle can be heard…but mostly a well run, well placed beach town “Shangri-La” (in Bali). In short we highly recommend this villa, staff, and host. "Great breakfast and short distance to the beach. The Marriott has a private section on the beach for its customers with lounge chairs and you can take the shuttle. Great walking distance to many shopping and dining options."
