The staff were fantastic, the room was very spacious, functional and clean - the highlight being the clever use of the legacy building and the decoration and features to match (with modern touches, including aircon). Some will find the sound of the nightlife till the small hours off-putting perhaps, and the amenities are basic although they include a lovely little pool/patio area. The lack of onsite catering is an irrelevance as there is a plethora of options right on the doorstep, with helpful advice & guidance available from reception. A really comfortable and relaxing base for a Penang adventure."

"Walking distance to old George Town. Also very close to high street malls. Breakfast amenities were good with a wide selection. Had dinner one night due to late arrival and this was fine also. Cleaning staff were prompt and efficient. The hotel is also easily accessible to the hills and the Temples by Grab taxi. Would recommend for sure. If there was one downside was that the pillows were too hard. Would recommend one soft pillow and one hard pillow."
